Stainless steel jewelry is waterproof and harsh chemical proof! Stainless steel will not tarnish when exposed to chlorine pools, soaps, lotions, perfumes, etc. (stuff like that). You can wear it all day, every day!
18k Gold plated stainless steel jewelry is waterproof and will not tarnish & can be worn all day, every day; however, it’s important to care for the piece because the gold layer can fade down to the natural silver tone of stainless steel without special care. Extra care will provide longevity for the gold layer of your gold plated stainless steel pieces so they don’t fade over time.
PVD stainless steel jewelry is the HIGHEST quality gold over stainless steel option out there!! It withstands water & harsh chemicals beautifully, and is my personal go-to for an everyday piece. PVD gold stainless steel pieces will NOT fade!
All orders contain a cleaning cloth. It’s important to “dab” your pieces with the cloth so products (like soaps / lotions) don’t build up on the pieces and take away the shine! Gold Filled jewelry is WATERPROOF but NOT harsh chemical proof. It’s important to keep gold filled pieces away from chlorine pools, (showers too if there’s levels of chlorine in your water), perfumes, lotions, soaps/ soap build-up, because the thick gold layer (gold filled pieces) can be worn away over time when overly exposed to harsh chemicals. PLEASE keep that in mind when choosing your pieces!

Some pieces have 16k gold filled wire wrapped components. Please see the item descriptions. To provide extra care for 16k gold filled wire wrapped pieces,so that the wire doesn’t pull, bend, or snap, please AVOID the following: sleeping, swimming, showering, or going to the gym with 16k gold filled wire wrapped pieces on. Avoid situations where the piece can be pulled on! They are hand wrapped with pliable wire, so they should be handled delicately!
STERLING SILVER & GOLD PLATED STERLING SILVER:
Fine silver jewelry should NOT be worn in water and is NOT harsh chemical proof. It’s important to keep sterling silver pieces away from chlorine pools, (showers too if there’s levels of chlorine in your water), perfumes, lotions, soaps/ soap build-up, because it can cause tarnish; however, because Sterling Silver is a fine metal, it can be wiped clean to bring back its shine!
Gold plated Sterling silver: avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and water because the thick gold layer can be worn away over time & with use. I do offer a $5-$15 gold plating service depending on the size of the piece, if you have a silver piece that you’d like to be gold or if you want a piece replated! PLEASE keep that in mind when choosing your pieces!
